Caring for Our Communities
Imagine facing homelessness with nowhere to turn. At the Jennie Edmundson Foundation, Caring for Our Communities means making sure no one is left behind.
As part of this transformative program, our First Responder Community Health Coach works with the Council Bluffs Police Department’s Homeless Outreach Project—connecting with vulnerable individuals wherever they are on their journey to provide assistance, shelter, and medical care.
With the help of New Visions Homeless Services and Heartland Family Service, our Street Outreach Team is out four days a week, helping individuals find safety, stability, and hope.
Together, we can keep our homeless neighbors safe and supported.
