If you’re a pro at carving out the snow or just hoping not to fall, there’s a spot for you on this winter adventure! Outlook Enrichment invites teens and adults with vision loss (ages 12+) to hit the slopes at Crescent Hill at Hitchcock (previously Mt. Crescent Ski Area) for an exciting day of adaptive skiing and snowboarding on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The day includes transportation to and from Outlook (for adults 19+), a lesson in the activity of your choice, a trained sighted ski or snowboard guide, and lunch. Outlook’s adaptive sports specialists will pair each participant with a trained community volunteer for personalized support. No prior skill required.
Whether trying winter sports for the first time or returning to the mountain, Outlook Enrichment enables participants to experience the thrill of outdoor adventure in an inclusive, empowering environment that helps them stay active, build confidence and pursue their passions.
Parents of participants under 19 will need to provide drop-off and pick-up and sign a Crescent Hill waiver before leaving. Parents are welcome to stay and watch. As with all outdoor events, weather may impact plans, and updates will be provided if changes occur.
