Steven Ashworth Will Assist at Light the World Giving Machine Omaha Creighton Athletics Night

Creighton senior men’s basketball guard Steven Ashworth will assist at Light the World Giving Machine Omaha Creighton Athletics Night.
Ashworth will be joined by Creighton athletes from various teams. The athletes will be available for a meet-and-greet and sign autographs.
Giving Machine Omaha is located in the Von Maur Court on the lower level across from Santa Claus.
As part of the annual Light the World initiative sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, visitors at Westroads Mall can do an instant act of kindness by donating items available from the Giving Machine through Dec. 31. With a simple card swipe, individuals can purchase items for people in need throughout eastern Nebraska and western Iowa or around the world. ​
The Light the World Giving Machine is a global initiative that began in 2017. Since then, more than $32 million has been contributed to assist millions in need. More than 100 cities will host these unique and memorable vending machines this year.​

Giving Machine Omaha also benefits global charities Church World Service and UNICEF.
