What Happens to My Recycling Trash? Field Trip

Ever wonder what happens when you put your recycling bin out on the curb, how it is being used to make the world a better place, and if you are even putting the right stuff in the bin? The Council Bluffs Public Library will be having an off site program to find out on Wednesday, June 5, at 1 p.m.
Tony Fiala from the Council Bluffs Recycling Center will guide us on a tour to address the question, “What happens to the recycling I place in the bin?”
The aim of this outing is to examine products that are recyclable and those that are not during a walking tour of the Recycling Center located at 4441 Gifford Rd in Council Bluffs. So, lace up your walking shoes, grab a hat, pack a water bottle, and head down south of Hwy 275 to join us on this exciting journey!
In the event of rain (and mud), the alternate plan is set for the following Wednesday, June 12, at the same time.
