Spotlight on the Art of Speaking

The Council Bluffs Public Library will be hosting an event, The Art of Speaking, on Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. A panel of The Alternative Book Club members will present excerpts from their book “Spotlight on the Art of Speaking,” offering tips and inspiration to all attendees.

The presentation aims to help authors appear trustworthy, competent, and likable when speaking to an audience to increase book sales. Presenters discuss using humor, body language, and organization to enhance the message delivered to the audience.
The Alternative Book Club is a group of individuals aiming to motivate each other for success. They published the first of eight books in their “Spotlight on the Art of” series in September 2016, enabling personal growth through authorship.
