Iowa Legal Aid’s Disaster and Rural Justice Project for Older Iowans

Learn how Iowa Legal Aid is working to support Iowans through a variety of legal services and special initiatives. This presentation will cover assistance available to tenants, victims of domestic violence, individuals facing debt collection, older Iowans, and those impacted by recent disasters. Representatives will also discuss ongoing projects in the Council Bluffs area.

Following the presentation, eligible attendees may receive a free on-site legal assessment. Eligibility includes being low-income, age 60 or over, or affected by the April 2024 disasters.
