French-born master fingerstyle guitarist Claude Bourbon hails from Britain, but finds
himself traveling the globe strapped with his trusty Gibson J-45 acoustic
dreadnought .

Whether he’s playing a straight blues, thumping R & B, or his own
cauldron of sound, blending influences of Flamenco, American roots music, New
Orleans jazz, and British Isle stylings, Bourbon transitions between them all with an
easy and oftentimes syncopated style.

“I like Spanish music a lot, I like classical music and I like a little blues as well so I mix all these three together and see what
happens,” said Bourbon. “I found out that you can do so much more with the fingers instead of just playing with the pick.
I really enjoy that you can play the bass part with just the right and do the lead with two or three other fingers.”
