It really is the smallest things that you treasure as a parent and there's nothing better to me than getting to snuggle up with my kids and fall asleep waiting for Santa.

We hold a moment of silence for all the retail workers who didn't have a vacation day to use today. Also amidst the chaos and panic of last min holiday shopping, I diffused a live Karen before she exploded.

I should have been better prepared but I wasn't, and so yes I found myself trying to shop 90 mins before close of a store on Christmas Eve. It took everything I had to behave!

Just when you start to think you have it all figured out. Life reminds you that is not the case. I was feeling really good coming in this morning, even started humming a tune that led me to the realization that I had screwed something up and hadn't realized it in months.
