About us: Maisy and Marley’s Purpose is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our main mission is to close the financial gap families often face when caring for children with critical and complex medical needs. Over the last few years we have been able to help several families in our area with mortgage payments, therapies, medical equipment and other financial obligations as they focused on caring for their child while in the hospital, during illness, loss of job etc.

Another main focus for 2024-2025 is funding an all inclusive playground facility in Council Bluffs, IA. In partnership with CB Parks & Rec & HGM Associates we are developing a fully inclusive & accessible playground in Council Bluffs that will finally serve our ENTIRE community. It will be a one-of-a-kind destination experience that will elevate play to be for everyone, which will bring families together in play and joy. We truly believe this outdoor facility will put Council Bluffs on the map and attract so many from surrounding areas.

Over the last three years the Blue Jean Ball event has raised over $70,000 and allowed us to live out our mission.

Please join us for our 4th annual Blue Jean Ball….

Enjoy an evening of dinner, dancing and giving as we raise funds to help families in our community who have children with critical medical needs.

Admission: Ages 13+ $20, ages 3-12 $10 and 2 and under free. Pay upon entry at the event! We accept cash, Venmo or check.

5-10PM Dinner: Pulled Pork donated by Erica & Mark Bowers and cooked by Smokin A BBQ, Cheesy Potatoes, beans, Chips, Desserts and Drinks!

5-8:30PM Silent Auction: Bid on a variety of baskets, gift cards and more! Winners will be announced at 8:30PM

7PM Live Auction: Bid on big ticket items during our live auction.

5-9PM Raffle: Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win several different gift cards and raffle items! Winners will be announced at 9PM.

6-9PM Band: Live Music provided by Aaron Bressman. Dance the night away to some of your favorite cover band songs.

5-7PM: Tiny Tinsel & Tattoo, Face Painting and Balloon Artist: A family fun event, bring the kiddos and let them enjoy the FUN!

5-10PM Cash Bar: For the 21+ crowd enjoy beer and seltzers!
